New Episode Sunday Night - Friends, Family, and Broken Things

Mar 11, 2017

If you're looking at this post on our site, you can see a broken bowl that's been repaired using gold. It's an example of a Japanese art form called kintsugi. The broken bowl has fractures whose repairs are accentuated, not hidden—and the bowl is more beautiful than ever.

I kept thinking about kintsugi while editing our next episode.

Bridgette and Madison bonded through a tragedy. They become best friends. Then sisters-in-law. When one conceived and the other did not, a series of events led to intense brokenness.

But as the kintsugi bowl above illustrates, there is beauty and healing after brokenness.

The episode drops 6PM CDT (midnight GMT).
